What device should I use to watch?
We strongly advise that you participate via your desktop or laptop computer/mac that has good speakers. Mobile devices are supported but the best experience will be through the desktop or laptop computer/mac. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for virtual attendance. If you typically use another browser, we recommend that you download Chrome prior to the event.

Do I need a microphone or camera to participate?
No. You can engage with others via the chat and question functions.  We encourage you to use your mobile phone to take photos of your conference experience and post to the newsfeed.

How do I watch a live session?
Click 'Watch Live' on the day, which will be located in the top banner.

How do I submit a question to the speaker during a session?
At the bottom of the 'Live Stream' page there is a questions section where you submit any questions to the speaker during their talk. Do not use the chat function to ask the speaker a question. The chat function is for engaging with other delegates.

Allow site permissions and notifications
  • A Chrome browser is recommended for the platform. If you typically use another browser such as Microsoft Edge or Safari, we recommend that you download Chrome prior to the Masterclass.
  • To automatically track CPD for the Masterclass recording on-demand you have watched, you must ensure any ad-blockers are disabled.
  • To allow for notifications to appear you must turn on your notifications.
  • To do this click the lock icon in the top bar next to the site URL. Select allow next to notifications then select ‘site settings’ and from the drop down menus select allow for JavaScript, audio and video.
  • You can also Google 'Change browser permissions for <insert name of your browser ie Chrome or Firefox etc>' if you need extra help.

I have received an ad-blocker pop up, what do I do?
  • If you have received the pop up at the top of your screen which states “Ad-blocker Detected - Your browser has an ad-blocker enabled, please disable it to ensure your attendance is not impacted, such as CPD tracking (if relevant). For technical help, contact Support”, you will need to disable ad-blocker to track your CPD on this Platform.

How do I disable ad-blockers?
  1. Open the Settings menu within Google Chrome
  2. Click Privacy and security
  3. Select Site Settings
  4. Scroll down to Additional permissions.
  5. From here, turn off Block ads on sites that show intrusive or misleading ads.

I cannot disable ad-blockers via the instructions above, what do I do?
Please contact the Arinex technical support team via the blue chat bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of the platform for assistance on how to disable your ad-blocker if you are unsure of how to do this. Prior to reaching out to Support, please try and be aware of what ad-blocker you are using so the team can assist you with disabling your specific ad-blocker. If you are unsure of which ad-blocker you are using, you can click the puzzle piece in the top right of your Chrome Browser which should show you your Google Chrome extensions which should have a list, which may include your ad-blocker, alternatively, you can access this via the instructions above. Please ensure that you keep the support window open until your query has been resolved.
